How the Course Works

There are no pool sessions, or open water training dives. It will provide excellent preparation for using one of the many available fish ID references.
- When you sign up at the dive shop, you’ll be given access to the online training materials at the SSI website.
- While you are taking the course, and afterwards, your training specialist will be available for questions and discussion as needed.
- When you have completed the online sections and answered the review questions, you will meet with your training specialist at the dive shop, to discuss the course, sign off on the training certificate, your training record, and your log book. Yes, you need to bring your log book.
- There is no written final exam.
